Margaret Bamberg
January 21, 1921 - October 29, 2006
Hilton Head Island, SC- Margaret Bamberg, age 85, died Monday, October 30, 2006, at Hilton Head Island Carolina House, on Hilton Head Island, SC. The White Plains, NY native was a graduate of Far Rockaway High School on Long Island and attended the Rockefeller Institute in New York City. She lived for most of her adult life in Westwood, MA, before moving to Hilton Head Island twenty years ago. She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Bamberg and her daughter, Cynthia McCormick.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Richard H. Bamberg of Hilton Head Island, SC; her son-in-law, Steve McCormick of Savannah; her grandsons, Michael McCormick and Christopher McCormick, both of Savannah; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
